The ‘Baz’zigar of cricket

This man redefined the meaning of the word aggression. The man who always led his team with an aggressive approach. He took the captaincy when his team was in shreds and needed a wake up call. He took up the responsibility and implied his leadership qualities and built the first New Zealand team to reach the WC finals. That’s Brendon McCullum for you.
His decisions were always questioned and criticised by the cricketing pundits. Be it his reckless shots at crucial position or his attacking field set at an undemanding point or even his retirement call just before the World Cup. All of his decisions raised many eyebrows. But, his out of the box thinking mostly went the positive way thereby shutting all the critics.
No matter what the situation demanded, his approach was always the same, Attack from the word go.
Who has the guts to hit the world no.1 bowler for a six over covers by coming down the track that too in the semi final of the world cup? That’s Baz. He kept the opposition bewildered by his attacking approach.
He made sure that his team gets the best start in the limited over arena. His gutsy display of batting kept everyone awestruck. Even the big names had received a mouthful of pounding by this batsman.
His fielding on the other hand was a sheer grace. The ever fit man who pounced on the balls like a superhero gave his cent percent on the field and made sure that everyone did as well. His fielding qualities and aerobics were so blissful to watch!
Under his leadership, the team has produced one of the most deadly pace attacks and a top class batsman in Kane Williamson.
No matter what the result was, his smile would always be there to encourage and inspire everyone.
