An interesting checklist with the mix of sys-admin skills and being a front-end developer; or can I use another buzz word; full-stack developer. however the biggest point being a good engineer to develop such a practice, is to have the culture to run such a practice. With all the skills on the list, if the culture is non-present; it is still back to ground zero. SRE is my opinion is a master of the system they manage and have the ability(which is developed by years being in a specific environment) to maintain reliability for the given system. A good article, nevertheless. 31 skills is far too many; you would probably end up being a jack of all-trades and master of none. :)
