Dear Warren Shaeffer and the Vid.me TEAM,

I feel very sorry to hear that vid.me will be shutting down on December 15, 2017.

I have been fortunate to have posted some videos there at vid.me with Twitter ID as vijaysharma1122. I started on vid.me in September, 2017 only.

I was very pleased to see that my video @vid.me/qHMCE has so far plus 48,818 views after it was posted somewhere on September, 2017. I expect the number to go way up and beyond 50,000 by December 14, 2017 or by the time it shuts down.

I feel thankful to vid.me, its founder and the engineering TEAM in their help in making this possible. YouTube and Vimeo has not provided that kind of traction for a variety of reasons.

I hope that there may be a possibility of exporting vid.me video contents to your newer platform on MEDIUM. This may involve giving them a newer URL or keeping the same one. If so, please let me know.

Wikipedia.org has been successful without advertisement and only an alternate years or yearly donations from its followers/users. The donation even from 10% of its users, starting only at $3.00 and going up to a maximum of $50.00 has been able to sustain it for, as I know, plus 15 years or so. I hope that option might have been looked into.

Once again feeling sad and sorry for the loss, wishing you a grand success in your new take at MEDIUM or any other name which the newer platform may be assigned.

Best Wishes

Very Respectfully,

Vijay Sharma
