The perfect set of books completely depends on your Aim. If your aim is scoring good marks in your university exam then -

Anatomy -

  • B.D.C
  • Vishram Singh for Neuro-Anatomy
  • I.B. Singh for embryology and Histology.

Physiology -

  • Essentials of Medical Physiology (Book by K. Sembulingam and Prema Sembulingam)
  • A.K. Jain.Biochemistry -

Biochemistry

  • Biochemistry by Satyanarayan
  • Biochemistry For Medical Students by Vasudevan.

If you aim is to gain knowledge about all three subjects so you can perform better in future then -

Anatomy -

  • Gray’s Anatomy for Students International Edition
  • Atlas of Human Anatomy Book by Frank H. Netter.

Physiology -

  • Guyton & Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology
  • Lange Ganong’s Review Of Medical Physiology.

Biochemistry -

  • Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews.

You can buy both sets of the book because both knowledge and university examination is important for you but you should focus more on the knowledge part.
