I visit the Airbnb site nearly every day. Even when I don’t need to book a trip, I visit the site for inspiration and for my love of imagining the possibilities — “What cool things can I do next?”
Airbnb has done an exceptional job of optimising the search experience for their core use cases — i.e. Users who wish to book a room and for individual hosts. Now the core experience is proven & tested, there is massive opportunity for Airbnb’s to expand their influence beyond simply facilitating users to book a room.
AirBnB has a leading role to play in inspiring travel & they have have one massive advantage over other travel products — “Brand Personality”
But one things missing — A site experience that facilitates ‘Experience Discovery’
