Jason Redmond — Expert Community Builder, Professional Marketeer and Avid Collector Joins VIMworld as Digital Marketing Director!
As many longtime community members already know and newcomers will soon discover, we here at VIMworld take great pride in delivering the best products and services to our community. We also understand the importance of having the right people in place when it comes to community expansion and bringing valuable partnerships into the fold. With that in mind, we are incredibly excited to announce that Jason Redmond has joined VIMworld as our new marketing director!
A Wild Ally Appears!
Jason has a deep passion for community building and human behavior with the track record to match. After completing his undergraduate law degree at UC Davis, Jason jumped into the vibrant world of festival marketing. While there, he found himself promoting live music and film festivals using grassroots techniques. Jason witnessed firsthand the power and potential of connecting fans with creators through shared experiences — something core to the ethos of VIMworld.
Jason spent the next eight years refining his skills designing and executing growth strategies with consumer startups, advising companies such as Uber, Cadillac and Red Bull. His robust understanding of community building using platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and Instagram twinned with experiences in mobile app development, online marketplaces and subscription services will help VIMworld tremendously as we expand our reach globally.
VIMworld’s bold approach towards bond building requires an equally bold visionary to lead the charge. What’s even more exciting is that Jason has already become firm friends with VIMs, placing himself among good company in the Outrider clan.
Regarding who he saw as his favorite VIM:
“It’s tough to choose just one, but if I’m forced…Ao Lie. I’ve always been drawn to stories about heroes who have a flawed past or villains with redeeming traits. Growing up reading graphic novels, fantasy, and sci-fi there were no shortages of these molds. Ao Lie fits that character profile wonderfully and his A-S1 Tier centaur form seals the deal for me. Centaurs are mythical creature gold!”

Taking VIMworld to the Next Level
As an avid collector, Jason understands the value that VIMworld and NFT’s offer. More importantly, as VIMworld’s new marketing director he sees the disruptive potential our platform holds for both the collectibles industry and the ways content creators communicate and deliver to fans. With an impressive collection of physical sports and Pokemon cards of his own, Jason understands the value proposition of uniting the digital and physical domains, grasping exactly how unique and innovative the VIMworld platform is.
