Our beliefs are a result — an outcome of a series of actions, interactions, or experiences over a period of time. This is why we tend to stick to our beliefs.

Do you mean that we should be careful in what is being shaped as our beliefs — so that there is a conscious effort in “This is something that may turn out to be as my belief system and so I should be careful”. But that will dilute (and question) the belief system itself. No?
