In part 1 and part 2, we saw the introduction to Majestic SEO, What is Trust Flow and Citation Flow, how to analyze trust flow rankings, how to use citation flow and open site explorer, etc. Lets us see about domain authority and page authority in brief.

Domain Authority

Domain Authority is a term used in Moz. It is used to identify the website how authoritative and influential. In other words, it will predict how the website ranking on the SERP (Search Engine Results Page).

Domain Authority is on the scale from 1 to 100 values. Every single new site/brand starts with 1. The most authority moz believes your site it goes. It is based upon the sheer power of website linking to your website that you are analyzing.

Page Authority

Page Authority is an another term used in Moz. It is used to identify how authoritative and influential of the particular page that you are analyzing.

This is also scaled from 1 to 100 values for particular pages in the website that you’re analyzing. And page authority value begins with 1 for the brand new page. The value will increase based upon the fact that more authoritative sites were linking to that particular page.
