Enjoyed this. That’s the difference between a “coder” and a “developer”, a junior-to-mid as opposed to a senior. The maturity to compromise and do what needs to be done, to make things work properly. The longer you work with people and teams, the more you’re able to forgive yourself for ugly hacks. It’s about solving the problem, most times…and no one really gives a crap about how pretty your code is or how elegant your hacks are.
