What I was about to email after my Visa rejection at the convocation ceremony of my Master’s Degree.
“Watching the face assuming the age must not be the way to judge to accept or to reject the visa applicant. Have you seen my hard work and the dedication towards my study in spite of being married in this conservative societal thought as of Nepal? Do you know the value of an international degree when it comes to such under-developed country like ours? I studied, I paid the fees to the international university, your university, I paid around $4000 to complete my course through the savings I have done, through the money I make every day and to earn this sort of money is a big deal for some middle-class families like us. It is my proud moment to visit the graduation ceremony of my graduate degree, it was my right and my husband’s right. Yes, We have not visited any other country because we were busy working, earning, we were busy studying, we were busy to make our future bright.
I blame you that your country could not grant the visa for the deserving candidate like me. You’re unable to control the people who visit there and you cant make the strong rules to let the people leave the country when the visa permit is over, and your counselor tells me that they cannot grant us the visa because I couldn’t convince the counseller. Why is it so that, they don’t see any of the documents, do you think that every information you have is adequate to judge a person’s will, whether I can afford to visit your country or not? Do you think that ever information is well organized in your one click that you get access to everything we have been doing? Have we been earning? we have been enrolled in??
I am surprised for the policy of such a top economic country like yours.”
And I felt like, who would care and deleted the .txt file
Here I searched it from the recycle bin and posted all over again.
Yet who would care!!
people told me, the reason for my rejected visa is because I applied along in with my husband and we both look too young.
