One Last Chance to Save the Royal Navy’s Flagship
War Is Boring

I recall being a young Sea Cadet in 1995 on an exchange program to the UK. We were berthed in the HMS Bristol (D23) and toured Portsmouth and I believe that at the time, HMS Illustrious (R06) and Ark Royal (R07) were in port. All I could think of — being presented with two thirds of the Royal Navy’s entire carrier force at once — was, “Oh how the mighty have fallen.”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
