Something you might or might not be aware of: v6 is a ground-up rewrite, using completely different technology, language, etc. It’s now .Net, when it used to be native Delphi.

I think this is a mistake. v4 was a great app. Simple, fast, worked well. Much of that is because of the tech that was used — Delphi is lean, native, clean. One reason features are missing is probably because they’ve gone for the rewrite option, something that most software professionals never choose to do. This is a very famous article on it:
