This huge slab of glass is 1600 years old!
It is around 90 tons in weight and measures 2 m x 4 m with a thickness of 45 cm.
Located at a cemetery called Beth She’arim in Galilee in Israel, the “slab of Beth Shearim” is one of the finest examples of ancient glass making technology.
