Marc Jacobs shares NYC townhouse on ‘Million Dollar Listing’

Charly “Char” Defrancesco is a candlemaker, former model and the husband of fashion designer Marc Jacobs. The couple met at a party in 2015 and tied the knot four years later.
Defrancesco has a cameo on the new episode of Million Dollar Listing New York premiering on May 20. He meets with Ryan Serhant about selling the Manhattan townhouse he and Jacobs shared before relocating to Westchester County.
Marc Jacobs (born April 9, 1963) is an American fashion designer. He is the head designer for his fashion label, Marc Jacobs, and formerly Marc by Marc Jacobs, a diffusion line, which was produced for approximately 15 years having been discontinued after the 2015 fall/winter collection. At one point there were over 200 retail stores in 80 countries. He was the creative director of the French design house Louis Vuitton from 1997 to 2014.
Jacobs was on Time magazine’s “2010 Time 100” list of the 100 most influential people in the world, [3] and was # 14 on Out magazine’s 2012 list of “50 Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America”. He was married on April 6, 2019, to his long-time partner, Charly Defrancesco. Marc Jacobs Husband, Marc Jacobs separated from Harry Louis in 2013.
Two years later, he appeared in public with the tattooed, muscular Charly Defrancesco, and on New Year’s Eve, their relationship was confirmed. He was born in Switzerland, where his parents owned a boarding school, and at the age of three, he moved to Los Angeles where he spent most of his childhood. After studying political science at UCLA, he decided to open a boutique for hip dads. With his energetic personality,
he left for New York and began modeling, before becoming a barman and then an interior designer. Some years later, he met Marc Jacobs and became his jet-setting partner. Fun fact — Char Defrancesco once appeared in the successful Netflix show Sense8. Splitting their life between trips to Paris and holidays in St. Barts, their relationship was taken to a new level on April 4 when Marc Jacobs proposed with a surprise flashmob in a Chipotle in New York, where they both like to eat on their birthdays. Fast-forward one year, and the couple tied the knot in New York.
