Lightning Strikes Twice for Chosen Jacobs From Stephen King’s IT Tapped for Hulu’s CASTLE ROCK Series

Here’s what’s so cool about this little piece of news and also why kids seem to be taking over the horror genre all thanks to a freakin’ clown and a guy named Stephen King…. Hulu’s upcoming “Castle Rock” isn’t just some psychological horror show we’re going to get to see on the streaming giant:

Rather, Castle Rock Will Be Based on the ENTIRE Gamut of Stephen King Characters

We dig. You dig? You might’ve already guessed, but it turns out that the town of “Castle Rock” happens to be a recurring place in a lot of Stephen King’s work. Which is why this show centers around it. And now we get to see the man who fought Pennywise along with the Loser’s Club, Chosen Jacobs, featured as “Wendell Deaver,” and you know it’s going to be played quite well.

Here’s a little synopsis for you on just what to expect from CASTLE ROCK:

A psychological horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, “Castle Rock” combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The first-of-its-kind re-imagining explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories and characters.

Hot Damn — If That’s Not TV Gold, I Don’t Know What Is

Expect to see Chosen Jacobs as well as a wealth of other actors putting their stamp on the show (like Bill Skarsgard himself — the man who played the most recent Pennywise — Scott Glenn, and, of course, Sissy Spacek — yes, from CARRIE! — just to name a few). The show should be hitting Hulu pretty soon this year.

Be watchful.
