He lost his connection with his mother as the doctor was slicing the umbilical cord separating the eternal bond of mother and child. Breathing slowly fades away as curvy lines of her heartbeat aligned to a straight line, child was crying uninterruptedly as she was the only family he had. Doctor has signed the report as maternal death due to hemorrhage.

He was sent to foster care where a minor has been placed into a ward, group home, or private home of a state-certified caregiver, referred to as a “foster parent”. The placement of the child is normally arranged through the government or a social service agency.

He spent eleven years, under their care and love. But he used to spend the evenings staring through window watching a couple feeding their children, mother kissing her child with love. He missed the love that only mother can provide unconditionally.

The wait has come to an end. When an lady in a murky red saree with golden lined border asked the head of foster care to adopt the boy staring at people.

Foster care administrative was in an argument with a lady criticizing her in context of not being eligible to take care of a child as she lives single, but she fought for the adoption, they finally agreed for a temporary adoption, if they are not satisfied they would come back to retrieve him.

His starvation ceased as he saw the love in her eyes. She informed her adopted child about her family and how she lost them in an accident, few days ago. Now, he is the world to her.

She worked all the night, going through stress to attain financial stability. She just wants a life for her baby, whom she bought over an agreement, all on her own, no one will come. She’s got to save him. She tells him, “Ooh, love, no one’s ever going to hurt you, love, I’m going to give you all of my love. Nobody matters like you.” And also tells him “Your life will be nothing like my life. You’re going to grow and have a good life and for that I will do whatever I’ve got to do.”

After a month she proves to the administrative her financial stability and unconditional love to take care of the child. On the way back to home,
