New Beginning

Sometimes when things happen in an exact way as you have imagined, it seems too good to be true. Something like that has been happening to me recently. As I am still trying to sink in the fact that I don’t have to work night shifts anymore and that this decision is proving to be the correct one. Its been two days now and still it feels like a dream to me. Being able to sleep peacefully at night, waking up with the sunrise, have morning tea with my husband and spend time with him and myself. Something I realized in this process is, never…never take anything for granted, for you never know when it’ll be gone. I am cherishing every little thing that I am able to do now which I couldn't do while working night shifts….may it be having a cup of coffee in the morning.

So, now back to my no sugar pact. Its been up and down since last week. Not certainly on the sugar but all over…including exercising. I can blame on the moving process or anything that I would like but nothing is to blame except myself. But, I am not going to let that little set back hold me back anymore. Shall get back on the wagon with full force tomorrow. Plus I have been getting compliments on how I look even though the scale ain’t budging. So I guess its working now. Took about a month before anyone noticed any difference in me. It is going to be even more important to bounce back since I finally purchased tickets for ‘The Color Run’ (running 5k) and to add to the fun, the husband will be running with me. I guess he still does not know what he just signed up for . Hopefully he wont regret this decision. I purchased a medium shirt for the Run, even though I do not fit in mediums as of right now, but I will be changing it, slowly and steadly. So finally will be fitting in the medium on the day of the Run which is November 01, 2014. Exact 90 days from today.

The change in the blog website is because….well just like that. New life, new apartment, new job…so why not new blog? Oh yes, totally forgot to mention that I found a new job with a bank. So excited about it. Starting the new job from August 11,2014. So till then, will be enjoying little break from work.
