With acupressure, you apply pressure on some specific points on your body.

When you press these points, it causes tense muscles to relax and increase blood flow.

These points are called acupressure points.

All you have to do is to press this point for 1–2 minute and let the muscle relax.

Point 2: Knee Joint

The second point is located in the midline at the back of the knee.

When you press this point, it releases muscular tension in the leg and thighs.

Point 3: Foot

This is one of the main sciatic nerve pressure points for sciatica pain.

This point is located on the outer side of your foot, just below the ankle bone.

Point 4: Piriformis Muscle

This point is located at the middle of a short muscle present on each side of your buttocks i.e. piriformis.

This muscle connects your spine (lower back) to thigh bone.

When this muscle gets stiff or tight, it puts pressure on the sciatic nerve and cause pain.

Find this short muscle, press deeply in the midpoint and hold for 1–2 minutes.

Point 5: Middle Finger

This point is located at the outer side of your middle finger (the point where last joint of middle finger is present).
