There are dock solutions for MacBooks, but they use Thunderbolt instead of a docking port.

Great tips, though, I’d still need Karabiner for all its other tweaks.
The dock looks interesting but… I see a lot of complains about stability, so it doesn’t seem worth it at this price. The only thing I would gain with it, over the USB hub solution, are the display ports.
