Garnet Thank you so much for this tour de force and for the new word! To gerstle. . . I shall use it always in lieu of making mountains out of molehills.

I can hear myself at a committee meeting, listening to some person go on and on, exaggerating all the way, and me leaning over to the person in the next chair and saying, “Can you believe how this guy is gerstling this? We shoulda been out of here hours ago.”

I think Observer-Effect Poetry is the perfect genre for the works.

And you’re right. I do like to write poetry that knows it’s fully aware of the possibility of being abandoned, read, judged, found wanting, tossed aside or burnt to a crisp — not always in that order.
