That’s great, the only thing I would question are the words “offense” and “defense” there. Being proactive does not mean you’re facing a threat. Usually, an offensive or defensive stance is needed when you’re in danger, so it’s the same than assuming a violent point of view. I would prefer seeing the situation as an opportunity, in which I need to thrive, acting by anticipating the expectations.
