Today we are excited to announce a feature that the Botsociety community have been asking for a while now: the design validator on Google Assistant.

If you are worried that the design you are building on Google Assistant does not follow the best practices, or it shows an interaction that is actually not possible to build, then this new feature is for you.

The design validator is a simple and friendly reminder to make sure that your designs would work perfectly on the platform itself.

For example, the design validator will simply remind you that interactions with Google Assistant need to start with “Ok Google” or “Hey Google”. Take a look:

We’re starting with Google Assistant but we’re looking forward to making it available to other platforms in the near future as well. So please feel free to leave your feedback on the comments down below.
