We are excited to announce the launch of the VivaLeva Testnet, a small step towards creating a first leveraged yield farming service on zkSync.

With the launch of the VivaLeva Testnet, users can now test the platform’s functionalities and provide valuable feedback to help improve the user experience. But please note that lending & staking function only are supported for testnet version of VivaLeva. We’re currently working hard to provide complete range of functionalities for our users in mainnet. The testnet version will also help identify bugs and issues that need to be fixed before launching the mainnet version.
To test VivaLeva in zkSync testnet, you need to claim goerli ETH first for gas fee and bridge them with zkSync Portal.
Enter your wallet address and you’ll receive 0.02 Goerli ETH. It can be claimed every 24 hours. Other then the Alchemy faucet, you can try https://goerli-faucet.pk910.de/.
Bridge the goerli ETH received above to zkSync Era testnet by zkSync testnet bridge, and you’ll finally receive ETH for zkSync testnet.
zkSync Era testnet ETH received by the process above can be used as gas fee for transcations on zkSync testnet or to deposit on ETH pool of VivaLeva testnet.
For Metamask users, we strongly recommend you to click on ‘Use Default’ button for the approval process. If not, you could be required additional approval after using up the spending cap you’ve set.
Also, we’re planning on giving out airdrops to our betatesters who participate in the VivaLeva testnet.
To become a betatester, all you need to do is take part in the betatesting period and participate in VivaLeva testnet. After 4 weeks of betatesting period, check if you’re eligible for the betatester role simply by verifying if your wallet address is included in the guild.xyz allowlist.
