Editor’s Picks: A New Collection From Vivendo (Part 2)
Vivendo presents a new curated selection of covetable furniture from our art director Massimo De Conti.
TIVOLI WOODEN & LEATHER ARMREST DINING CHAIR
“The most resistant element of a building is not wood, is not stone, is not steel, is not glass but it is art. Let’s make something very beautiful,” — Gio Ponti, architect and designer. Vivendo’s art director Massimo De Conti has curated this selection, in the spirit of Gio Ponti’s architectural values.
Designed by award-winning Finnish architect Mikko Laakkonen (b.1974), the Tivoli chair is a new interpretation of mid-20th century Scandinavian design. Its bending wooden spokes employ innovative technology, while its structure of solid ash wood lends a sophisticated, minimalist feel. “It is no wonder that Laakkonen trained in making musical instruments…”, says Vivendo’s art director Massimo De Conti, commenting on the harmonious design of this stackable chair.

The beauty of the Como dining chair lies in its simplicity and versatility.
