Yes — but I also show up as having applauded an article, however many I gave it. So externally, people still see it as an endorsement. But mostly, it really adds to my cognitive load. Instead of clicking a heart, I need to make a second (or third, or fourth decision, or fiftieth decision) in continuing to clap for an article. I am (still) not used to translating the immediate perceived value of an article after I read it into a such a broad range. 26? 17? In my case, it’s either a 50 or a 1. Not what I had intended…
