This was the final stage for our team in which we had to analyze all the feedback we received from the prototype testing and make the necessary alterations on our website in order for it to respond to all of our potential clients’ needs.

First, we categorized the needs according to our target groups (shoe designers, interior designers, tailors and textile businesses.

The main concern of shoe designers was to protect their products’ identity and originality (copyrights). Interior designers had the same concern about copyright protection. As for tailors, they were rather skeptical about the online website, as most of them were older than the age of 40 and were not familiar with making orders online. Lastly, most textile businesses wanted us to ensure them about the website’s safety as they would need a safe platform to offer their leftover fabrics to. Also, everyone advised us to focus on small scale industries that seek lower prices for leftover material.

Taking all this statements into consideration, we decided what our website alterations would be.

Firstly, we planned to mention next to every product all the necessary information such as the previous owner, the country of origin, the exact size, price and amount of product. This way not only we protect the copyrights of the fabric but also we ensure our fabric donators that our website is a reliable trading platform. What is more, we thought it would be ideal to offer everyone a free advertisement as an exchange for donation

Next, we decided to drop our prices to as low as possible in order to attract customers and especially small scale industries and furthermore to make the website design and trading procedure as less complicated as possible, in order for it to also be easy for older people to use.

Lastly we agreed to focus more on the aspect of “reuse” rather than the “recycling”, as it responds better to the greek market needs.
