“Sent from iPhone”

When I first read this line on some forums or on Facebook — I can’t remember correctly, I thought “What a bunch of bragging kids!”.

And later on I saw things familiar with that line: from my iPad, from ABC via XYZ app, etc. I didn’t care much, honestly.

Now that I already understood what the message is behind those “showing-off” words, I think: It’s so smart.

This is one of those brilliant ways to get your customers talk about you with their friends. It not only shares what app/device one is using but also tells other people “Hey, I use this app/device. It’s really cool! You should try it too”. A smart referral marketing.

Applying to your company’s current service, you can use “Powered by XYZ” for example, in emails or on your product so your customers will become the ambassadors of your brand. This method ensures that our brand get seen by increasing number of audience in with similar interest.

Well, it’s fun to see things around you under marketing point of view. It’s also great to see the world from different points of view, isn’t it?
