So 2016: who's next?

Last time I checked, it wasn’t a group of 17 year olds that came up with the concept of bombarding the youth with advertising to get them to spend their income on whatever that group of 17 year olds decided was “cool” at the moment, it was old white men. The middle class is being wiped out by them and those who support them.

I am 32, an American baby of two American baby-boomers.

The baby boomers are the generation that has completely messed up my country, and they are getting old. They are realizing that soon my generation, the one that was raised on complete lies and capitalism, the one that baby boomer's told whatever my generation needed to hear in order to get us to spend our money so they can get richer, the ones who have jobs where all they do is bust their ass for their baby boomer boss’s bonus and try like hell to climb up the totem pole while paying off thousands of dollars of tuition fees, are going to be the ones in charge whether they like it or not.

My sister had to go to college in the middle of a recession, and her generation will be running for presidency of the US in a decade or two.

My generation is all grown up and not too long ago were a few steps away from being forced to live through another Great Depression that would have been worse than the first one. MY generation is not afraid to tell the truth, because unlike our government, WE want our kids to actually have the option to be who and what they want to be when they grow up and make a living out of it, instead of being conned into being a corporate drone.

Why else would Donald Sutherland, one of the most distinguished actors to date, decide to play the part of President Snow in “The Hunger Games” movies? He actually believes in the power of the youth, and he backs them up with all his heart. He fully admits that his generation is what is destroying this planet, and he looks right into the camera and tells the youth of the WORLD: “You can change this”.

The ignorant are the easiest to control, and that is all any government is about: control. In this borderline “Big Brother” day and age, no one can truly say that those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it, because it's either being rewritten so much (aided by the internet), or what has been written is destroyed forever.

I've witnessed votor fraud. I've lost hope that my vote truly counts.
