Definitely NOT possible to find the ideals you speak of in those schools mentioned. There are some unlearning/deschooling/truly alternative attempt, many in fact, like Sholai school near Kodaikanal, Aarohi in Bangalore, Marudam in Tiruvannamalai, Thulir at Sittilingi, but most of the alternative scools in India have to uccumb to a curriculum the end. For the parents are not happy condemning their children to being unable to go to University, simple as that. Only Swaraj “Universisty” in Udaipur has no entrance requirements but also they do not give degrees!

So it is an all or nothing choice.
