Wireframing.
My phone says I spend at least 4 hours a day looking at its screen, scrolling through my feed, watching videos, liking photos, etc. I can honestly say, that at least half of that time is on Instagram. I like it not only because of cute puppy videos and food photos. There is a lot of interesting information (especially among Russian bloggers) about everything on Instagram: healthy lifestyle, relationships, technologies, and even UX/UI design.
This is the reason why I chose Instagram as a platform for my new Ironhack challenge. So far, it has been my favorite! It was easy but, at the same time, rewarding exercise. Using Sketch, I created a wireframe version of user flow on how to subscribe to an Instagram blog you like (Ironhack in my example).
The flow:
- User opens the Instagram app. Clicks on the second left button on the bottom to go to “Search”.
- Clicks on the search input bar on top.
- Types “ironhackmia” and clicks on the logo of the blog.
4. User is redirected to the page. Then clicks on “Follow” button right under the logo and description of the blog.
5. Congratulations. User successfully follows the Ironhack Instagram account!
The second part of this challenge was to put a prototype of this user flow together. Using InVision it took me only a couple of minutes to complete. The link is down below.
Thank you for your attention!
