I think Angular wants to be an “enterprise” framework. Angular with Typescript looks like it’s a .NET for frontend:
1. It’s a very-very big framework…
2. …with very-very boring docs
3. …written in a typed language,
4. Has all features that you need out-of-box…
5. But you don’t know how to compose these features correctly.

There is an interesting idea to compare what framework modern platforms use. I guess that big, “enterprise-like” platforms more likely to use Angular.
