I am a Woman. You are a Trans Woman. And That Distinction Matters.

You talk a lot about rights pertaining to vagina and uterus and breast owners but you never talk about vagina owners who aren’t women-even though they still have their reproductive rights threatened and their bodies viewed as inappropriate.

This leads me to believe that you are not concerned with these rights so much as you are concerned with the very cis-normative concept of womanhood and protecting that rigid and exclusive view of womanhood even as it hurts the people around you-vagina owners included.

Yes trans and cis women may have varying experiences. But you don’t look at other cis women who have experienced womanhood differently from you (perhaps due to difference in race or sexual orientation or upbringing) and invalidate their experiences as women do you? Women can have a wide variety of experiences and still be women.
