In defense of unikernels

I do agree there that the ‘additional dangers’ of unikernels in vm based microservice architectures are pretty limited. But so are the benefits, for the same reason. As randy said, it’s a solution looking for a problem. The main “pro” for unikernels in this use case is to prolong the usefulness of hypervisors for vendors of said hypervisors.
