Melinda Gates Has a New Mission: Women in Tech
Jessi Hempel

Great interview. Efforts need to include older women who would like to reenter the work place without getting a 2nd college degree in CS. Community colleges might be a good start for dedicated funds and certificate programs, that way women of all ages are included in the learning process in a more affordable environment. Going back to college and paying high tuition at the university level is not an option for most older women with established families, homes and eldercare responsibilities. Also, Silicon Valley needs to start looking beyond the Bay Area to offer tech education and employment opportunities. America is a big country.
