Don't discount King James. The translation into English is flawed in so many places. Modern scholars are going back over it.

The modern New Testament is heavily edited. The Council of Nicea determined canon. Many Gospels were left out. Like the Gospel of Thomas, of Mary Magdalene (apparently), the Book of Enoch, why even a Gospel of Judas.

Anytime I'm faced with a proselytizer claiming it's the inerrant Word of God, I have to ask, "In which language? How do you know?" Do they read Greek? Hebrew? Aramaic?
