I did a supposedly culture-neutral IQ test the other day (it was one of those ones with shapes and patterns where you have to predict what is the next item in the pattern based on what’s there already) and I scored quite low, because that is my weakest area. Also the expectation that a pattern is repeating is probably not culture-neutral anyway!

I like the idea of multiple intelligences, as it allows for different areas of thought, creativity, and skill.
