Become product reviews obsolete with the Internet of Things?
Devices could collect frequency of use, location and times of use to determine the user experience.
For an an electronic book, for example, it is possible to collect the number of read pages without interruption. Does the reader skip pages? Is the book ever read to end? How long does the book captivate the reader when the book is read at bed time? Does the reader close the book after 10 minutes or does he read late into the night?
All this information could be used to automatically rate the book. Similar metrics could apply for many other products.
