Day 1

*Kssshk* This is Garry from Reconnaissance Team 1 reporting in. This time the portal seems to have connected to a much more… exotic planet. The sun is blue. I repeat, the sun is blue. Or at least it looks much bluer than ours does. All the plants are vibrant blues, purples, and reds too. I’ve never seen navy blue grass before. This place is just so… Well, I’m at a loss for words. I guess Alien and Breathtaking are good ones for it. So far we haven’t found any signs of animals or sentient life, but we’re expanding our search perimeter every day. Sooner or later, we should find something, if something is out there. Garry, signing out. *Kssshk*

Day 3

  • Kssshk* This is Garry again. It’s a couple hours before sundown, and the drones we sent out to scout should be returning soon. But, we lost the signals of 3 different bots headed in 3 different directions. One was exploring a cave that had some sort of tracks going to and from the cave entrance. The second was following a river to the south east, flying low and scanning the banks for tracks in the mud. The last one had broken into a small clearing with some strangely stacked large rocks, almost kinda like some old Stone Henge. The last frames from the drones that got sent back were blurry, as if the drone was hit by something. The cave drone got knocked into the ground, the river drone showed a large shadow rising above it from the direction of the water, and the one in the clearing had what looks like a spear sticking out of its side in the very last frame. The last one seems the most promising, but we’ll have to investigate the other ones too. The big wigs said we’d get a huge pay bonus for finding and capturing strange creatures. Something about “An epic season finale” I think. Anyway, we’ll be setting out at first light. Jenkins is taking a few men to the river, and Timmy is going to the caves. I’ll be taking most of the researchers and a few others to investigate the clearing first thing in the morning. I’ll check back in tomorrow when we have more information. Garry, out. *Kssshk*
