You know, blockchain solves the double-spend problem.
Oh, is it? What is the problem?

It is the about someone using a coin for two purchases. It is fraud.
Well, If I have a dime, I can’t use it at two stores for candy.

That’s true. But with crypto currency, it is possible.
So blockchain solves a problem created by bitcoin?

Yes.
Isn’t it like two accomplices, one creating a problem and the other solving it?

Alright, blockchain does more. It keeps a log of events and the log can’t be changed because it is copied by so many people around the world.
Like a historical story that is copied in all textbooks or told to many people?

Yes. the information is decentralized. No need for a central authority.
What is the problem with central authority?

They hold concentration of value and become target of attack, also might misuse their control over the value.
That’s good thinking, to dilute the value. Why don’t you guys put the same reasoning to all your other problems?

Like what?
Concentration of anything is bad — quality, political authority, perfection, dwellings, wealth, beauty and being meaty. Look at that deer. It’s a concentration of tasty meat. I want to attack it.

You mean the deer doesn’t have a right to be meaty?
I don’t know about rights. But I know it is foolish to be meaty when you can’t be ferocious enough or fast enough to protect yourself.

We have a government to provide protection for all the needy.
You mean some Lord who allows you be meaty and incapable at the same time and assures your genes can continue through your offsprings?

Yes. It is called democracy and freedom.
Does that allow concentration of wealth and authority in a very small number of people and have a law that encourage all others to be as dumb and incompetent as they wish, without any fear of extinction?

Not quite. We have a punishment for being dumb. Dumb people don’t get economic opportunities and they become poor.
Then who wins?

Clever people win. But the problem is, these days cleverness is same as cheating or selling. It is all very appreciated and rewarded heavily.
So, earlier you were clever by using arrows and spears to hunt us, the unsuspecting animals, for meat. Now you use cheating, selling and cleverness to hunt the unsuspecting dumb animals among your own species. For meat?

What are we talking about?
Meat?

Stupid tiger.
