Play Store has large collection of free VPNs whereas their desktop counterparts often are paid or do not exist at all. This tutorial will help you with the process of sharing your phone’s VPN with your Windows devices.

First, you should have a VPN app installed and turn on the VPN.

Google PlayStore showing Every Proxy App
EveryProxy App’s Startup Page

Next, you will need to download Every Proxy (Free Software) and open the app.

Settings Menu

Click on the triple dot at the top right corner and click on Settings

Choose one of the IP Address from the list

Next, Click on IP Address and choose the one that starts with 192.168….. (we are setting up a local network proxy)

Proxy Successfully connected

Then, go back to the previous menu and Click the Toggle icon next to HTTP. Now our proxy is up! .

If you get any errors on enabling proxy try changing to different IP in the Settings.

Moving to the Windows side of things,

Windows search bar showing Change Proxy Settings Menu

Type in Change Proxy Settings in the search bar and click on Open

Manual Proxy Setup

Now,

Click on the toggle to enable Proxy Server,

Type in the IP that Every Proxy App shows (in my case IP would be 192.168.1.3 and port would be 8080)

Click on Save.

If you are trying to use the VPN with browser, you might need to restart them. Be sure to disable the proxy server if you turned off Every Proxy on your mobile phone.

That’s pretty much it. Now all your Internet traffic flows through your phone’s VPN.
