(First of all I’m a 13-year-old so if I write something utterly stupid, please let me know.)
Sorry for being so late to this, but I seriously have to thank you for just writing this article, and more over, for reflecting the people out there. I’ve recently been so fed up with the endless feed of Ultra-Premium phones that cost more than a thousand bucks and break within seconds without cases, and like you said, I’ve come to expect everything as perpetually exceptional. This is so refreshing. As I read this I both laughed out loud and thought about my behaviors of taking limitless indulgence online, of craving for the best specs possible and my invisible failing for large brands. You brought a whole new perspective to me that further build my belief that youth is all about shitworld and loving it.
I have never seen anyone in my lifetime reflecting the experience of us, the students and low-class who use Nokia feature phones that cost just a couple of bucks (Including me). In an ever advancing world, you are really the first one, at least in my immature experience, to publicly talk about this whole universe of “shitworld” and its overlooked perks.
So thank you for this.
