Sometimes Simple Is Best

There are weekends and events that we put a lot of time into creating moments that we feel could be special and pray that God would move through them. We may start the week of or a few weeks out in planning. These moments usually turn out well and God does move through our tangible efforts.

BUT…. there are times where God decides to move through the most simple element with little planning. This past weekend was one of those moments. Greggory David took a few moments during “Yes and Amen” to share a personal story involving his family and how their only option left was to run to God and worship him in a moment of complete uncertainty and fear. The element needed no extra planning or production. Simply us providing a space for Greggory to share how God moved in his daughter and family life.

Storytelling has always been one of God’s greatest ways of reaching into the hearts of others. I’m grateful that we have a church that gives us the tools to share these stories not only in a worship experience, but throughout the world via technology.

Check it out below and don’t forget to finish it because the turn happens right before the bridge that gives me goose bumps each time I watch.
