Boycott White House Pressers

The media has played this stupid game with Trump for too long

This is the second response I ever posted at this site. I submitted it on March 29, 2017. The only change, or addition, I have made is this disclaimer, in italics. I stand by my suggestions.

I hereby suggest — in writing, so that you can parse every comma, every em-dash, and every criticism — that the media begin a boycott, as soon as possible, of daily briefings from the Sean Spicer White House, until honesty in responding to the press is restored. Then, I recommend that the media submit a list of questions they want straight answers to, the longer the list the better, to be answered by the White House, openly and for ALL of America to share, BEFORE they return to publicize this administration that so regularly, blatantly and unceremoniously mocks them as the enemy of the American people.

For too long now, the media has played this stupid game with Trump, Pence, Spicer, Huckabee-Sanders, Flynn, Kushner, Bannon, Priebus, Sessions, et al. Take charge and end it, or suffer the consequences as its gullible, willing victims. You become the puppets, if you allow Trump to trample your integrity like this. He mocks you, yet you play right along. He’s winning and I’m sick of it.
