I judge opinions based on whether they correspond with the truth. I don’t judge opinions based on whether I feel good or bad about the ramifications of the opinion or what I believe personally about the giver of the opinion. Based on the dictionary definition, an opinion can’t be ‘inherently bigoted’ because ‘bigoted’ refers to a quality of the person himself, not the opinion he or she holds.
If Archie Bunker, a very famous fictional bigot, had said, “The evidence shows that women dominate the field of nursing”, he would have been right! See how that works?
