Sensation parties are world renowned. The fame is well deserved with Sensation White in Amsterdam attracting the world’s best DJs, all performing for 1 night only to a crowd of over 40,000 people. Discover 5 other reasons why you shouldn’t miss this kickass event. But, if you got this far, you’re probably here to get the DL on the artists. You’re in luck. Waffle’s baked the lineup for this year’s Angels & Demons party. Let’s begin!

Sam Feldt

22 year old dutch DJ and electronic music producer, Sam Feldt broke into the charts with his song ‘Show Me Love’. He is a signed DJ of Spinnin’ Records, which should already guarantee the quality of his work. The sound he is playing can be characterised by soft-flowing melodies filled with emotions, and beats making you get out your dancing shoes.

Mr White playing with YAX.X

Mr White is the resident DJ of Sensation White events, and has become an integral part of these parties throughout the years. He is the guru of setting the scene with his tech-house vibes, tuning the crowd for the night.

Youri Alexander aka YAX.X is already well known in the Amsterdam nightlife scene, but he is still on the rise internationally. You could have seen him in Ibiza last year where he also had a few gigs, as well as shows in Barcelona, Valencia and Belgium. There is no better introduction for his music than his collab with Brad Mair for this year’s Angels and Demons anthem below.

Robin Schulz

The popularity of Robin Schulz is over the roof on YouTube, several of his songs have over 200 million views — which is, well, pretty damn impressive. The breakthrough of the German DJ’s career came from his remix of ‘Waves (ft. Mr Probz)’, followed by his all time most popular song of ‘Prayer In C (Lilly Wood & The Prick)’. His unique sound features organic instruments mixed in with deep house.

David Guetta

This French mastermind needs no introduction. He has been a central figure in making EDM what it is today. He has single handedly increased it’s influence across the globe with several of his major hits. He’s now one of the most well-known and sought-after DJs, and if you haven’t seen him live yet, you are missing out BIG TIME. He attracts an awesome crowd. Here’s an arbitrarily chosen song from him, just because we all WORK HARD, PLAY HARD.

Nicky Romero

Nicky Romero is another gem that emerged from the dutch hotbed of EDM superstars. He released a number of songs which made their way to the top of the charts, and took him to stages all around the world. In the UK, his most played record is his collab with Avicii, ‘I Could Be The One’. In case you wanted to attribute the genius beats of this song to Avicii, listen to his song with Krewella for good measure ;)

Don Diablo

Coming from Holland, Don Diablo already made his claim to fame in the right circles. Well known for his remixes, his repertoire now also includes original songs and collaborations with no less than Example, Diplo and Tiësto. DJ Mag awarded Don the “highest climber of the year” prize in 2015, for jumping 52 places on the Top 100 DJs list, making him #30. That’s one hell of a jump!

Yellow Claw

The world-famous DJ trio from Amsterdam that set out to combine hip-hop with EDM is a name to be reckoned with in today’s music scene. These guys have it all: a nice melody with a mean drop. Don’t be fooled though, Yellow Claw packs an even bigger punch when they are playing live, you will definitely be swept of your feet. Check out Shotgun to get revved up!
