HIV AND AIDS RECENT REPORT
The report given on 01/12/2023 by cabinet secretary of health Honourable Nakhumicha Wafula shows that HIV and AIDS has reduced from 34,450Culprits in 2022 to 22,154culprits in 2023.
1.4million Kenyans are reported to have been infected by the disease from the current test taken from statics .It is shocking that the increased number of those affected is amongst the youths from 10–19years where by on weekly basis 248 cases are reported
Nairobi, Kisumu, uasinGishu, kakamega kajiado kiambu and meru are the counties that have claimed escalating rate of HIV in Kenya.
Though the mortality rate caused by the disease is on low rate, 99% of Kenyans living with HIV and Aids use ARVS.
