I have never punished my child: parenting for a nonviolent world
Anahata Giri

Well. After years of watching you develop your philosophy, Anahata, it’s wonderful to see where it’s lead you. When I’ve been out with you and your son, I must admit to a sense of confusion: you’re never in a hurry to put your timeline ahead of his. In fact I’ve watched as you match him with playfulness and curiosity. And it pays off because of course he’s much more likely to open up to trust with a comrade than an authority figure! It’s good to read the thought processes behind your parenting. And I can’t wait to watch this child grow into a grown up human.
