I’ve lived in Delhi for 5 years somewhat and yet I can’t call it home . I do agree on some points about people being self-centred and too egotistical, yet there is a feeling about it that doesn’t die that 'dilli' waaali feeling I’d say. You won’t get it 'coz you marely touched it, I’ve lived it inspite of all the chaos there is a calmness in air with being surrounded by people from so many states you feel you’re inside the heart of INDIA. Everyday million people when cross your path while floating in their own sea talking in their own language that’s when you get to touch them. When the festivals light you up whether it’s Diwali,Eid or Christmas. When you get to eat every type of food from top class cuisine to thelewala chat all symbolising their own regions their own pride. That’s what Delhi is made of.

Dirt you’ll find everywhere ,true it is more in Delhi but just for that you can’t hate it because when the dust settles then only you’ll find what your eyes seek, there’s a lot more to Delhi than its traffic and pollution and all the chaos. Give time and you’ll see.

You aren’t wrong entirely but you aren’t right either. ;)
