Passionate and skilled runners, your CAThletes have come — or rather run — a long way, leveling up and snatching victories through ups and downs. Several running seasons past, it may be time for some of them to step down as athletes, pass down their knowledge and skills, and do something new and different in their lives — like exploring different universes 😼 But before walking through the "magic portal", they would train a successor, their athletic legacy, to step up as your victorious runner!
In honor of the 2M players milestone, we are beyond excited to announce the CAThlete Fusion Event!
Over the 7 days, you’ll have a chance to use the magic portal and exchange 2 NFT CAThletes to one new CAThlete which is guaranteed to be of a higher rarity than Common. It is basically fusing two of the CAThletes you own into a brand new one, fresh and ready to compete.
In contrast to breeding, the new CAThlete won’t be taking after the fused CAThletes in terms of genes or rarity — that means it is possible to fuse common CAThletes and get rare or even legendary one!
Once the event goes live, you’ll find the CAThlete Fusion banner on the Wallet screen. Tap it to see event details & available fusion pool and fuse your CAThletes. The fusion UI is quite similar to breeding UI, so it will be easy to navigate.
Select two CAThletes for fusing; check the rarity and level chances for the new CAThlete and tap to initiate fusion. Once it’s completed, you’ll find the new capsule in your Collectibles → Lootboxes.
FUSION KEYNOTES
- Only NFT CAThletes (level 6–10) can be fused.
- The 2 NFT CAThletes you fuse will no longer be part of the game and will be burnt.
- The CAThlete rarity drop chance for resulting CAThlete depends on the levels of the fused CAThletes; the higher the levels, the more likely you are to get a rarer CAThlete.
- The max possible level for new CAThlete is the lowest level of the two fused CAThletes. The chances to get a levelfrom the rage of possible levels depends on the breed counts of the fused CAThletes.
- While the rarity drop chance depends on the levels of the fused CAThletes, the specific gene setup of each output CAThlete is not affected by the fused CAThletes’ setups and is generated randomly.
- The specific rarity and level drop chances are calculated in the application once you’ve selected CAThletes for fusion.
Please note that the drop chances are calculated for the lowest level of the 2 CAThletes that are to be fused.
- The output of the fusion will not belong to the Genesis generation.
- Only $WLKN from the wallet are accepted as payment for fusion.
- Players may fuse several times as long as they have required CAThletes and there are available fusions in the total fusion pool for the event.
