Wow, I want to live there. I actually caught myself sighing while reading this.

Go there, dude! Pack up, take an acoustic, and breathe free. Or go camping.

At 3 in the morning, I sat on my bike, on the bike path, along lake shore drive, before lake michigan, and watched the stars. There’s not many to see in Chicago with all its light pollution. But there was a cluster, in the darkest space, gleaming. I saw small bouts of light zip thru the sky.

It was breathtaking, brother. I was exhausted w my over 10 mile bike ride home, my backpack carrying books, laptop, & food, my body having done a 10 hour shift, and I walked away from everything. It was only in moments but some of our most memorable memories are these beautiful moments that we’ve extended time on, in our minds.

I stood for at least five minutes, mind blown. I tell you, I forgot I was on earth. I was a star for those five minutes. I was nothing and everything. I was completely safe, alone on said bike path. My eyes got all misty. And I was apart of something bigger than myself. I walked away, for a moment. And it was sigh worthy.
